Process of Urban Planning in Iran

The subject of urban planning, due to its interdisciplinary nature, exists in a variety of fields of study necessarily including geography. The present book has eight chapters and addresses, with the mentioned approach, topics such as the study of quantitative and qualitative goals, historical background, characteristics of urban planning and its effective factors, executive system and urban planning organization in Iran, the pattern of urban development and design and it deals with studies such as physical and environmental issues, infrastructure, housing and etc. in order to investigate the current situation. One of the characteristics of this book is reviewing the latest projects implemented in the country, such as the master plan, detailed, improvement, renovation, transfer of the capital, etc.
