Planning for Urban Housing (With a Look at Iran)

Housing is not only one of the basic human needs, but also an indicator to show the standard of living of individuals. A house is a treasury of memories and a place for the flow of human emotions and feelings and a key factor in the prosperity and growth of people in their society. Housing planning is an interdisciplinary field and a creative process that evaluates the current state of housing (housing equities), future policy, financing of housing projects, resource management, and finally the implementation of programs at different national, regional, and local levels. It is to be noted that the ultimate goal is to provide a deserving house for the population throughout the land.
