The New Approaches in Political Geography
Political geography, from a spatial point of view, in addition to the study of the national government, considers new models of government at the national and transnational levels. The politicization of the geographical spaces of waters, atmospheres and spaces around the planet, the sustainable political management of the environment and living in land, water and atmosphere, as well as the study of patterns of political behavior of human societies affected by geographical and spatial variables have provided new horizons for political geography and political geographers. This book is the first step in compiling a theoretical literature on four new epistemological domains in this field: localism, regionalism, the political geography of the seas, and the geography of elections. We hope that researchers expand their studies and produce general propositions in order that students benefit from them.
