This book is a very short and brief look at the history of several thousand years of Persian literature from the beginning to the present and how its developments are related to the social trends in Iran. In this book, the biographies of poets and writers, the characteristics of the books and literary works, not in detail, but within an interconnected collection called “Persian literature” is considered and only accentuated the poets and writers who are innovative as well as the main ups and downs of the Persian literature trends in historical periods and types of literature and poetic styles. At the end of each section, the most importantly simple and accessible sources in Persian and English languages are introduced to the readers for further reading.
