General Demography of Iran

Awareness of demographic changes and transformations is important in all aspects of humans as well as the technical and scientific issues that are in some way related to the number of people and the growing human population. In our country, which has gone through some of these demographic changes and is facing others at present, it is an important matter for every scholar, researcher, and person in charge of national affairs to know the country’s demographic issues and recognize its structural changes and dynamics in the past, present, and future. Structural changes in the population affect its dynamics, and in the opposite direction, this effect is significant and understandable. In order to understand these influential processes in the population of our country, in this book, we have tried to study the important issues and contexts of Iran’s population in comprehensive chapters and consider the key parameters and resources in this regard.
