Two coastal provinces in Iran, Mazandaran and Hormozgan, although they have common water and coastal territories and are adjacent to the sea, but they are different in geographical areas. The purpose of the present book is to study the situation of sustainable urban development of these two provinces and to study the role of the government in creating differences or balances between geographical spaces. The authors, with a comparative approach in terms of theoretical and practical aspects, seek to discover the causes and provide a solution to moderate or reduce the economic and social differences of geographical spaces. Those interested and researchers in the field of geography and urban planning can benefit from the analytical content and scientific results of this book.
