Foundations of Historical Knowledge
History in our country is a knowledge that is both rooted in tradition and is influenced by the intellectual waves of Western modernity, which adds to the difficulty of knowing its nature. The confrontation of traditional and modern methods and attitudes has created a heterogeneous combination in our historiography, resulting in a methodological crisis in historical research. The present book is the author's attempt to write a comprehensible work about one of the most important topics related to the principles and foundations of the science of history for history scholars that encounter this issue.
