Professional Ethics in Library and Information Science
There is no profession that does not need a moral system, but such a thing is doubly evident in the service profession such as librarianship and information. Professional ethics in librarianship and information science has been developed in two approaches of human resources and organization. The first approach discusses the ethical obligations and responsibilities of librarians and experts and formulates the code of ethic of human resources in this profession. And the second approach establishes the ethics of the library and the information center as an organization and formulates the values and ethical principles in the library and the information center and the ethical responsibilities of these organizations. This article in fifteen lessons deals with professional ethics in librarianship and information in both approaches.
