Sociology of Development
This book is written with the aim of depicting the rethinking process in development. The book separates two major development discourses and examines them in separate sections. The first discourse is the discourse of development, that is, the space of birth and formation of development literature. The second discourse is a rethinking discourse that sees development beyond pre-determined rules. The main topic in this discourse is man and his indigenous, historical and cultural attributes. The formation of this discourse is the second industrial revolution (post-industrial) and the entry of third world countries in determining the global structural equations. Post-development schools, theories, and paradigms, with limitations on the issues of sustainability, rethinking, and culture and humanism in development, have been evaluated under this discourse. In general, this book offers a new approach to the classification of development literature from the beginning to the start of the twenty-first century, which, while used in classrooms, is a good source for developing theoretical frameworks in scientific trends and student dissertations.
