The Quality in Higher Education
It is possible to know the function of academic systems (activities and their results) through its dual form- quantity and quality -both of which represent a complex reality. Educational, cultural, social, research phenomena ... are born in universities in such a complex field. Thus, the quality” determination tools” in higher education, regardless of this field, achieve a superficial knowledge of it, and create the illusion of “definite knowledge” of it. The Indefinability of quality in higher education, which this book emphasizes, opens a new path in the category of “quality” in higher education. The definition of quality predetermined in higher education based on “certain” criteria and indicators is in conflict with the dynamics of university systems and is a major barrier to the emergence of creativity and educational / research innovations of academic organizations.
