Transoxiana, a vast cultural land in the northeast of Iran, is a culture that is called Mā Warāʾ an-Nahr in historical sources in the Arabic language; And now the Europeans and Russians call it Central Asia. Historically, this land has always been part of the Iranian cultural territory and civilization. The purpose of this book is to study the historical geography of this land from the natural geographic, social, cultural, economic and political perspectives in the first centuries of the Islamic period based on the historical sources of this period. It is hoped that by reading this book, students will be able to learn about the history of Transoxianain the Middle Ages of Iranian history.
