Applied Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh)
The three-volume collection of “Applied Principles of Jurisprudence” is organized in six chapters. The two chapters "Generalities and Concepts" and "Discussions of Alfaz" (principles of Islamic jurisprudence) are discussed in the first volume, the chapter "Evidence and Sources of Islamic Jurisprudence" in the second volume and the other three chapters are discussed in this volume. The fourth chapter, entitled "Practical Principles", including the principles of Istishab (continuity), presumption of innocence, precaution and option, has been examined and the fifth chapter is dealt with the subject of "conflict of evidence" and the criteria for resolving it. Chapter 6 deals with the issue of "Ijtihad and Imitation". In this volume, as in the previous volumes, the principled issues are explained with a convincing and fluent expression and by mentioning legal and practical examples, and deep or marginal issues are included in the box "for further study".
