Philosophy of Jurisprudence is an emerging discipline in which the science of jurisprudence from various dimensions is described, reviewed and recommendations are provided to eliminate the shortcomings so as to develop the philosophy of jurisprudence. In this book, the philosophy of jurisprudence, its definition and difference with the philosophy of commandments and the science of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence are explained and then the science of jurisprudence is examined from three aspects: 1. Subject and scope; 2. Worldly and otherworldly, material and spiritual, individual and social, governmental and non-governmental goals; 3. Theological principles such as justice, wisdom and grace of God, the end of prophecy, comprehensiveness, immortality and universality of the Sharia and infallibles. However, the philosophy of jurisprudence has also other important issues such as sources, methods and tendencies, structures, developments and schools of jurisprudence that should be addressed in another book.
