This book has been written with the aim of fostering the power of inference and strengthening the juridical insight of the law students and especially with regard to comparative studies between Islamic and Iranian law with similar institutions in other legal systems. In fact, the author has written this book due to his concern about the lack of textbooks suitable for university students of Islamic law and especially and jurisprudential principles. It is to be noted that the purpose of the author has not merely been to discuss the titles of jurisprudential rule, but more attention has been paid to any important principle or rule in jurisprudence to help students in their study and research. The rules of jurisprudence were initially published in 1984 and with content including several important rules of jurisprudence that were mostly applicable in the field of civil law and were welcomed by professors and students of law and students of seminaries and has since been reprinted several times. The second volume of the book contains some jurisprudential rules, which are taught and researched upon in master and Ph.D. levels and needed to be comprehensive and detailed as a supplementary discussion to the first section, i.e., the rules of civil jurisprudence.
