Research Methods in Information Science and Knowledge Studies
This book has been written to acquaint information science and science students with the research method. Of course, because of the commonalities that link the humanities, the scope of the book goes beyond that, and students in other disciplines - such as education, psychology, sociology, management, and communication - can also use it. This book consists of ten chapters: basic and theoretical concepts, main steps in the research process, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed approaches in research, common methods in quantitative approach, common methods in the qualitative approach, research ethics, scope and limitations in research, reasoning and its mistakes, research topics in knowledge and information science and research presentation.
