Although the subject of common law is not separately and independently dealt with in the whole Islamic law system, undoubtedly, a great portion of the rich jurisprudence corpora is specifically devoted to this issue.
The third volume of the 'jurisprudence regulations' is particularly related to the scope of common law. These regulations containing all areas of common law are important to be studied from different aspects in different higher educational degrees.

First, the significance of the rules governing the Islamic government is indisputable, due to its practicality and the critical role it plays in the government discussions within the field of common law and also due to the specification of the government to Islamic government in the existing ruling system of the country.

Second: theoretically, it requires getting familiar with the Islamic principles in different areas of common law such as primary law, administration law, general financial law, etc, and the university lecturers and students should be made fully and scientifically acquainted with the Islamic viewpoints.

Third: Through an analogical study, by simultaneously considering the western-style teachings and also the contemporary law system, it is possible to cope with the criticizing and analyzing the raised problems while taking the Islamic principles into consideration. They should also obtain necessary capabilities to represent and introduce frameworks, formats, and programs appropriate for the existing circumstances of the country. This book follows the discussions in the last two volumes including the fifth section: jurisprudence regulations in common law and
second section: the jurisprudential regulations in common law. In the fifth section, two major issues of jurisprudential regulations in common law and the related sources have been raised to discuss. In the principles part, it also reviews the regulations No. 139 to No. of jurisprudence regulations in common law.
In the final section of the book, the list of sources and verses mentioned in the book are provided.

Compiled as a textbook for "Jurisprudence Regulation" course for university students majoring in jurisprudence and law, the third volume of the Jurisprudence Regulations is particularly related to the scope of common law.
