SAMT Publications at the 28th Algiers International Book Fair

After several years, the Iranian publishing industry is present at this edition of the fair with a rich and diverse booth, made possible through the efforts of the Iran Book and Literature House and the Cultural Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Algeria. A selection of publications by the SAMT Organization, translated into Arabic, has been made available to visitors at the 28th Algiers International Book Fair.

This fair is one of the largest cultural events in Africa and the most important book fair in the Maghreb region. This year’s edition is held under the slogan “Book, the Meeting Place of Cultures”, coinciding with the seventy-first anniversary of the beginning of the Algerian revolution. It hosts 1,254 publishers from 49 countries, including 290 Algerian publishers, collectively presenting more than 240,000 book titles.

The country of Mauritania serves as the special guest of the 28th Algiers International Book Fair.
