Donation of SAMT’s Selected Works to the Iranian Language and Culture Center at Moscow State Linguistic University

SAMT Public Relations reported that following the joint Iranian-Russian scientific cooperation, a selection of SAMT’s works were donated to the Iranian Language and Cultural Centre (ILCC) at Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) in the presence of the Ambassador and Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) to Russia and the President of MSLU.

SAMT’s International Affairs Department reported that on the ceremony of the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, a meeting entitled “Iran-Russia Relations in the Current World Situation” was held at MSLU and participated by Kazem Jalali (Ambassador of IRI), Irina Kraeva (MSLU Rector), Masoud Ahmadvand (IRI’s Cultural Counselor) and Professor Polishchuk (Director of ILCC). Jalali, among the professors and students of the Persian Language and Literature and International Relations at MSLU University said:

The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation have a very bright future and the decision and will of the two governments and nations of Iran and Russia are focused on the development of the relations. Regarding this bright horizon, the role of those who must develop and promote this relationship will be prominent, and this means that we need strong Iranologists in Russia as well as professional Russologists in Iran, and the best people who can play a fundamental role in this way are those familiar fully with the cultural subtleties and languages of the two countries.

At this meeting, 130 books from SAMT and other Iranian publishers on the subjects of Iran Studies, Persian language and literature, and the literature of sustainability and resistance were donated to ILCC at MSLU. The Iranian ambassador also signed MSLU’s commemorative book during this program.
