The Director General of Scientific Research & Development Department of the Republic of Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited SAM

In line with SAMT's international scientific cooperation with the Republic of Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (RIMHESR), Dr. Lebna Khamis Mahdi, RIMHESR's Director General of Scientific Research & Development Department, visited SAMT organization and had a conversation with Dr. Mahdavizadegan, the president of SAMT.

SAMT's Department of Public Relations reported that the Iraqi delegation started their visiting program in Iran by attending SAMT and talking with Dr. Mahdavizadegan. In this meeting, Dr. Senan Hessam Mahdi (RIMHESR's Deputy Director General), Dr. Musa Jafar Razi (RIMHESR's Director of Curriculum Planning Department), and Dr. Alaa Hamzeh Imran (RIMHESR's Director of Scientific Affairs Department) were present.

Dr. Mahdavizadegan, after describing the main achievements of his last year visit to Iraq's educational and research institutions, expressed hope that with the efforts of the Iraqi side, effective cooperation will continue with greater competence. Dr. Mohammad-Reza Saeedi (SAMT's Research Deputy), Dr. Ebrahim Rezaei (SAMT's Executive Deputy), Dr. Parvaneh Shah-Hosseini (Head of SAMT's Institute of the Humanities Research and Development), and Mustafa Gholamhosseinzadeh (Director of SAMT's Department of International Scientific Cooperation) participated the meeting and each of them presented their perspectives.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Khamis and his accompanying delegation visited the selected books exhibition of SAMT's domestic and international scientific-research works.
