During his trip to Iraq, Dr. Mahdavizadegan, the head of SAMT, visited a number of Iraqi research institutes.
Visits of SAMT's head to Iraqi research institutes

According to SAMT's Department of Public Relations, Dr. Dawood Mahdavizadegan, the head of SAMT Organization, visited a number of research centers and libraries during his trip to Iraq.

The center for the revival of Kadhimiya shrine heritage (CRKSH)

During Dr. Mahdavizadegan's visit to CRKSH, Samir Khazʻal, the vice president of CRKSH, said: "Although newly established, CRKSH has taken good steps in preserving and publishing Kadhimiya heritage, and of course it should take more steps." Dr. Mahdavizadegan, after introducing those specialized and research departments of SAMT that are in line with CRKSH missions, announced that if the Iraqi side wishes, SAMT's scientific-researching capacity has the potential for helping revive and publish the valuable treasure of Kadhimiya shrine. He then visited different parts of this institution and at the end, made a note in the Memorial Book of CRKSH. The vice president of CRKSH, while appreciating the head of SAMT for his efforts, presented him with a selection of the latest published works of CRKSH.

Karbasi Library in Najaf

In the holy city of Najaf, the head of SAMT visited Karbasi Library that contains valuable documents, images and works of Najaf scholars. Hujjatul Islam Karbasi, in gratitude for the presence of the head of SAMT, presented him with a selection of his printed works.

Islamic Center for Strategic Studies in Najaf (ICSS)

During his stay in Najaf, Dr. Mahdavizadegan visited ICSS and talked with Hujjatul Islam Seyyed Hashem Milani. Previously, SAMT had the experience of cooperating with this institution in publishing the Arabic version of Hermeneutics. Dr. Mahdavizadegan, on the sidelines of visiting the ICSS collection of printed works, made welcomed suggestions about research works.

Dāralturaṯ (Heritage House) in Najaf

During the visit of Dr. Mahdavizadegan to Dāralturaṯ, officials of SAMT and this institution got to know each other's scientific-researching capacities. While introducing the latest purchased collections, Hujjatul Islam Shojaei explained the working process of Dāralturaṯ and announced his readiness for any cooperation in line with the institute's activities. At the end of his visit, Dr. Mahdavizadegan appreciated the activities of this institution and suggested that the achievements of researches, conferences and specialized meetings be made available to the academic community in textbook format.

Amiralmuʼmenin(PBUH) Library in Najaf

On the second day of his stay in Najaf, Dr. Mahdavizadegan visited Amiralmuʼmenin(PBUH) Library. On the sidelines of this visit, the head of SAMT presented the library staff a welcomed suggestion on considering a special shelf for the collection of works published about the Commands of Amiralmuʼmenin, Imam Ali(PBUH) to Malik Ashtar.

The historical house of Imam Khomeini(PBUH) & Ayatollah Qurashi library

After visiting the historical house of Imam Khomeini(PBUH) and writing a note in the Memorial Book of this complex, the head of SAMT visited Ayatollah Qurashi library, recited Fatiha at the grave of this great scholar, and visited the library and museum. Hujjatul Islam Qurashi, the son of the late Qurashi, while introducing their printed works, welcomed the suggestion of the head of SAMT for publishing the works of the late Qurashi in textbook format.
