SAMT, the Center of International and Regional Dialogue

SAMT's Department of Public Relations (DPR), citing the DPR of  the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), reported that Adel Khani, ICRO's director general for the development of Asian and Pacific cultural relations and Hossein Aghazadeh, the Cultural attaché  of Iran in Almaty met Meirbaev Bekzhan Berikbayevich, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University's Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science and discussed about the capacity of international cooperation between SAMT organization (on behalf of Islamic Republic of Iran) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (on behalf of Kazakhstan).

In this meeting, the collaboration between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and SAMT (the Organization for Researching and Composing University Textbooks in Islamic sciences and the Humanities) was evaluated as suitable by Aghazadeh. While introducing SAMT, he said: SAMT is a specialized organization for writing and publishing university textbooks in Iran. This capacity has been gained by enlisting the cooperation of Iranian academics and professors.

The Iran's cultural attaché in Almaty noted: This specialized organization for composing and publishing academic textbooks in Iran has a Philosophy Department and will be ready to mutually cooperate in the field of translation and publishing academic textbooks. He also added: A significant number of books of this academic institution were translated and published in different languages, including Chinese, Arabic, English, etc.

Adel Khani, ICRO's director general for the development of Asian and Pacific cultural relations Hossein Aghazadeh, the Cultural attaché of Iran in Almaty have already got acquainted with the activities, programs and perspectives of SAMT, especially in the international arena, in a meeting with the head and other officials of SAMT.
