A sound and dynamic economy provides ample opportunities for the growth of other human talents, and in the absence of a sound economic system and its inefficiency, the opportunities for growth and prosperity of other aspects of human life are disrupted. In today's world, with the scientific and technologic advancement, economic laws and decisions have high sensitivity and priority, to the extent that a brief change in a legal act related to economic relations or an economic decision may affect the fate of all individuals in a nation. Therefore, economics is one of the most important issues to be researched. One of the pillars of the perfection of our Islamic society is livelihood planning and programming. This requires an approach that will be acquired through economics. To obtain what constitutes Islamic economics, some prerequisites are required that have been provided in various forms over the centuries, but have not yet been compiled in a collection titled as Economic Fundamentals. The present book, which is the result of the sincere efforts and cooperation of the professors of Islamic seminaries and universities has been compiled in four sections and twenty-one chapters in order to study the basics of Islamic economics and includes the main topics that should be the basis of academic curriculum of universities majoring in economics.
