Sociological Theories
The book Sociological Theories is the result of several years of research, teaching, and study by the author in sociological texts and various works. This work consists of 12 chapters; the first three chapters detail the underlying definitions, concepts, and theories of sociology, such as positivism and evolutionism. From the fourth chapter onwards, well-known theories such as constructivism and functionalism are discussed, and in the next four chapters, new perspectives and orientations, such as exchange theory, ethnomethodology, symbolic interaction, and phenomenology, are described. Each chapter of the book is divided into several main sections; in the first part, the concepts, theories, and principles of each school, and in other sections, the works and opinions of experts of that school are introduced. At the end of each chapter, key concepts, questions, notes, and a list of sources and references are presented to understand and make it easy to learn.
