In the process of educational activities, teachers and school principals are the main and key elements of human resource development. Therefore, they must have the necessary efficiency and effectiveness. Efficient and effective teachers who are familiar with the theories, fundamentals, principles, and methods of education, and provide an artistic and contingent environment that instills in students a sense of security, competence, self-control, and self-development rather than Information transfer and thought imposition so that they can personally be the architect of their education. Curriculum designers and developers must also believe that in the age of information explosion, teachers are not the only source and transmitter of scientific knowledge. Many factors are effective in the transfer of knowledge and the formation of thought of the young generation. Therefore, they should be the designer, manager, and director of educational activities. Their role should be to organize, guide, and facilitate educational activities, not just the transfer of scientific information and knowledge. It was based on this belief that many years ago the decision was made to write a book on educational skills. This book was published in 2003 after a decade of publication in two volumes under the title: Educational Skills (Vol. I), Educational Skills (Vol. II), which also had common aspects in terms of content. The good welcome from colleagues and students to these books caused a new look at organizing and editing them. In the new revision, the common and repetitive contents of the two books have been completely removed and the first volume has been published under the title of Educational and Developmental Skills (teaching methods and techniques), and the second volume will be printed after revision under the title of Educational and Developmental Skills (teaching theories and models). The first volume consists of three sections and eleven chapters, which have been completely revised and rewritten, and content in the field of e-learning has been added to it.
