An Introduction to Sampling in Research
This work has been designed and written to fill the gaps in a book in which, while paying attention to the theoretical foundations, sampling is included in the research text and is considered as a methodological tool. This book is an introduction to research sampling and has a simple organization; after preliminary considerations, the material is organized around two main basis and in two different sections with the topics of random errors in sampling and non-random errors in research, especially in sampling. It should be noted that this book is not a mathematical textbook on sampling; As a result, the mathematical emphasis is limited. The main audience of this book is a university researcher. This book can be used in postgraduate courses along with other psychological texts on “measurement” and “analysis”. The first chapter can also be used to acquaint undergraduate students with the basics of sampling.
