Developmental Psychology (2): With a View to Islamic Sources
The importance of learning from the perspective of the Holy Quran is so great that in the first surah that is revealed to the Prophet, the blessing of teaching and learning is mentioned. Writing and learning have been mentioned as tools for fostering and bringing human beings to dignity. The revelation of God’s messengers has also been introduced for the education of human beings and has been considered a blessing by God on human beings. In this book, while explaining the basics and key issues of developmental psychology, Islamic concepts in this field are pointed out. The existence of appropriate contexts in Islamic sources regarding the concepts of developmental psychology led to the development of new Western perspectives, as well as Islamic perspectives.
