A Selected Descriptive Bibliography of Library Science (Persian-English)

In order to meet the need of the academic community for specialized bibliographies in which reference sources, textbooks, and workbooks of various disciplines are introduced, the Research Council of “SAMT”, at the suggestion of the then Vice deputy for Research, approved a bibliography of selected academic disciplines. This book consists of two parts, Persian and Latin. 1490 Persian book titles have been collected from 9 prestigious libraries, information centers, and university libraries, and the other part is 435 selected Latin book titles and references in the field of librarianship. Students of different disciplines, during their studies and especially when they are obliged to do research, are faced with questions in these cases: books in that field, exact and correct title of the book, original text language, author’s name and location, Persian translation in The existence of dozens of other questions, the lack of answers to some of which make it difficult to advance the research and achieve its goals. Therefore, the necessity of compiling bibliographies seems obvious.
