The texts of Persian poetry and prose are full of the verses of the Qur’an, prophetic hadiths, Islamic terms, and interpretations in Arabic, and Arabic poems, proverbs, and sentences; in such a way that it is impossible to understand and comprehend Persian texts correctly without understanding them. The texts of this book are selected from first-rate Arabic language sources such as Nahj al-Balaghah and from texts that are related to the texts of Persian literature, history, and culture of Iran and Islam. At the end of each lesson, exercises are given as well as examples of translated texts from Arabic to Persian so that students become more skilled in reading and translating Arabic texts as well as grammar rules.
