A Fragment of an Old Exegesis

The book A Fragment of an Old Exegesis consists of two parts: the first part is a text of an unfinished interpretation of Surah Al-Baqarah from verses 78 to 274 and the second part is a translation of the same verses from Surah Al-Baqarah. In the original version, which is probably related to the fourth century AH, first the verse of the Qur’an, then its translation and interpretation are mentioned. The scholarly editor of this book, Professor Mohammad Roshan, while compiling the book in the current way, has written a wise introduction on it and compared it with some old Persian exegesis and translations. This book has a note written by Professor Mojtaba Minavi. Meanwhile, in this edition, the previously printed text has been compared with the photo of the version of late professor Minavi, and an additional page has been placed in the photo version of the text.
