Selected Descriptive Bibliography
In order to meet the needs of the academic community for specialized bibliographies in which reference sources, textbooks and teaching aids of various disciplines are introduced, the Research Council of "SAMT" Organization at that time, at the suggestion of the then research deputy, approved the plan to compile a bibliography of selected academic disciplines. Geographically, this book deals with the whole Islamic world, and chronologically, it covers from the emergence of Islam to the collapse of the Abbasid Caliphate in Cairo by Sultan Salim I. Students of different disciplines, during their studies and especially when they are obliged to do research, are faced with questions in these cases: field-related books, exact and correct title of the book, language of the original text, author's name and location, Persian translation if available, and dozens of other questions. The lack of answers to even some of them makes it difficult to advance the research and achieve its goals. Therefore, the necessity of compiling bibliographies seems obvious.
