Ancient: Book The Edition and Interpretation of Shahname of Ferdowsi (Vol.II)

Shahnameh is the book of Iranian culture and the document of our cultural identity as Iranians. Therefore, the SAMT organization has considered it necessary to include the editing and Interpretation of the Shahnameh in its publishing program as it deserves this honorable book. This book which is called “Ancient Book” is the third volume of a ten-volume collection that will include editing and Interpretation the Shahnameh from the beginning to the end. In this volume, the story of Siavash is fully edited and explained. The scholar author, Dr. Mirjalaloddin Kazzazi, has used knowledge and perspectives such as lexicography, etymology, physiognomy, mythology, symbolism, stylistics, aesthetics, and typography in describing verses and analyzing stories. In aesthetics, verses have been explored and studied from the views of three branches of rhetoric sciences, Badi, Ma’ani, and Bayan. In stylistics, historical transformations of language have been considered. In etymology, the origin and background of terms have been studied and the Pahlavi script form of the terms has been obtained. This volume has an interesting introduction to individualism and demythologization, and it talks about the historicalization of myth and the mythification of history.
