The Principles of Applied Transport Economics

Transportation is a service that has a strategic nature and plays a major role in the general process of the country's economy and any failure and crisis in its delivery spreads to all economic activities of the country and reduces public economic well-being. Unfortunately, in our country, despite the vital importance of the transportation economics for economic prosperity and development, authorities do not pay much attention to this issue. In the present book, which has been compiled using various English and German texts, the author has tried to present the three topics of theorizing, planning, and policy-making in relation to transportation economics in a continuous way, and while presenting scientific points, it attempts to address also the related practical aspects.
