One of the reasons for the inconsistency in language teaching, in general, and foreign language, in particular, is the lack of real connection between the set of linguistic course and language teaching course at the university and community levels. The aim of the new trends in linguistics and language teaching, which includes the articles of the first conference on "Linguistics and Language Teaching" in Iran, is to emphasize the close connection between these disciplines to gain knowledge of the achievements and to apply some of their findings. The first volume of this collection is provided with 27 titles of Persian and Arabic articles, mainly with a focus on linguistics, and the second volume with 30 titles of articles in English, French and Russian languages ​​and with a language teaching approach. Thanks to the scientific services of Dr. Lotfollah Yarmohammadi, the result of this collective effort will be presented to him.
