Science of Fibers

Our country has a rich historical background in the field of carpets and today is one of the most important producers of handmade carpets in the world. In recent decades, the carpet industry has become a science and has naturally been considered with a scientific approach; So that it can be chosen as a field of study in various vocational schools and technical colleges, and universities. The author has written this book due to the lack of scientific resources in this new field as well as the fact that the available resources for teaching specialized courses in the field of carpet weaving are sometimes very old and complex. One of these courses is the “ Science Fibers” course, where carpet students need to have extensive knowledge of the types of fibers and their applications in the carpet industry, without studying the complex topics of fibers at the level of textile engineering disciplines. In this book, an attempt has been made to meet this need. In addition to the carpet students, undergraduate students in the field of textile engineering, as well as carpet students of the University of Science and Technology and carpet students can also use this book.
