Considering the need for objective and practical analysis and making the best use of the capabilities and capacities of the Iranian economy and eliminating the existing weaknesses and inadequacies and the necessity to compile a textbook regarding the Iranian economy, using up-to-date information, statistics and analysis to meet this need at the level of higher education institutions, this gap was felt by the writers who have taught the Iranian economy for years or have touched on its executive responsibilities with all their might. Although several books on the Iranian economy have been published so far, this book has features that have increased its value: up-to-date information, the existence of statistics and information, the division of chapters and sections appropriate to the Iranian economy comprehensively, new content and chapters that have been first discussed in the book of Economics of Iran, such as chapters of services, the role of government in the economy, budgeting, planning, the cooperative sector and private sector, and other new innovative topics that put the reader on the path to the realities of Iran's economy.
