Lifelong Learning: The Approach of University in 21st Century
The idea of lifelong learning has received serious attention in recent years and, according to experts, has created a Copernican revolution in the field of education. To realize this idea, educational systems, especially higher education, must cultivate learners who want and be able to continue to learn for the rest of their lives, and on the other hand, expand learning opportunities. In this book, the results of research related to the first task, namely the development of a lifelong learner, are presented. In other words, this book examines what issues should be taken into consideration in choosing goals, content, organizing, teaching techniques, and methods of evaluating student learning. Also, what scientific research services should be provided to them? Due to the limited Persian resources in the field of lifelong learning, this book provides useful and constructive information to researchers and educators.
