Trade Secrets Law

Trade secrets law is one of the less known concepts in Iranian law. There is no appropriate research has been done to resolve its ambiguities. The growth of the domestic economy depends on supporting intellectual findings and trade secrets and fostering a conducive environment for healthy competitive interactions as well as the legitimacy of trade secret information. Attracting foreign investment and playing an active role in the field of international trade also requires eliminating legal gaps and creating international convergence in various areas of intellectual property. Accordingly, in this research, the author analyzes the foundations of trade secret law in American, French, British, and international documents and applies their rules within the framework of Iranian law.
