The mental health movement of the twentieth century was one of the most influential social forces, focusing on the prevention of mental disorders rather than mere care and treatment. The new view considers mental health beyond the absence of disease and seeks the evolution and cohesion of human personality and the flourishing of their talents. The first chapter of the book examines the definitions and areas of mental health and considers the psycho-social- spiritual biological pattern as the basis of mental health. In the second chapter, psychological, moral, and religious approaches to a healthy personality are examined and a healthy personality is defined in the form of three healthy and compatible relationships with God, self, and others. Chapter 3 examines the role of needs, especially spiritual needs, in mental health. The fourth and fifth chapters also deal with the role of religious beliefs and behaviors in mental health. Chapter 6 examines the factors that impair mental health, including sin. Chapters 7, 8, and 11 are responsible for examining relationships with family and other people and the economic issues of social institutions. Chapter 9 deals with the environmental and technological aspects of mental health and Chapter 10 explains the role of learning and the educational institution in mental health.
