An Inquiry in to The Problem of Clear and Ambiguous Qoranic Verses

The subject of Definitive and Metaphorical Verses is one of the most fundamental issues of Quranic sciences required by the commentator and the necessary introduction for interpretation. This discussion is considered from one angle among principles of interpretation, and from another angle, among the rules of interpretation. The most basic topics that should be discussed in Definitive and Metaphorical knowledge are the precise definition of Definitiveness and Metaphor, determining the scope of Definitive and Metaphorical Verses, the interpretability or non-interpretation of Metaphorical Verses, the quality of interpretation of Metaphorical Verses, the referent of Moqatta'a (Disjoined) Letters, philosophy and wisdom of similarity in part of the verses of the Qur'an, and finally the knowledge of rāsikhūnin science of ta'wīl on interpretation of Metaphorical Verses. The present book, written with an educational application, tries to fill the gap in this field by answering the basic questions.
