The Way of Evaluation Quality Assessment of Arabic to Persian Translated Texts
Evaluation can be considered as the link between translation theory and practice. Existing models and measures for evaluation (especially Arabic-Persian) are very general in some cases and cause some errors in perceptions in evaluation. In the proposed model of this book, an attempt is made to identify and categorize the basic and effective elements in translation from Arabic to Persian at the two levels of “guiding factors” and “within the text” and provide a comprehensive method for evaluating more scientifically and accurately judged translated texts and by utilizing qualitative descriptions to advance the evaluation result into tangible quantitative descriptions so that both translators and evaluators could rely on consistent principles about their performance. By conducting an evaluation based on the model proposed in this book, not only can the quality level of the translated works be judged, but also a clear picture can be given of the publishability of these works and the degree of success of the translation.
