Press Crime
The press crime explanation and how to deal with it has been one of the first concerns of the legislature in Iran, but successive changes in the law and the structure of the courts have always created ambiguities about this crime that have been directly addressed by the constitution. The vagueness in the realm of press crimes, meanwhile, inevitably creates ambiguity in the realm of freedom of expression and makes addressing this crime concern for human rights advocates. This book is the work of one of the instructors of criminal law and press law who has been working in the field of press profession for many years and deals with the concept of press crime and its position in the current Iranian legal system, apart from a detailed study of press crimes. From this perspective, the book is divided into four chapters: 1) the legal system of the press; 2) the nature of the press crime; 3) liability for press crime; 4) Prosecution and prosecution of press crime- explaining the principles and legal sources of the discussion on press crime.
