Foundations of Cognitive Education
This book has been authored in five chapters with the aim of discussing the interdisciplinary field of cognitive education: The first chapter examines the emergence of the cognitive revolution and its consequences for education; The second chapter examines the philosophical foundations (ontological, epistemological, and value-based) of education and discusses the philosophy of cognitive education; Chapter 3 examines the evolution of epistemological theories and points to the educational principles derived from them. Chapter 4 contains the neurological foundations of education and research in this field; And the fifth chapter, while portraying a coherent picture of the cognitive approach to education, introduces the research fields of the field of cognitive education with a forward-looking view.
