PSYCHOMETRICS: Domain and Foundations

Judging the progress of any science is often based on the degree of that science in using mathematics, in psychology, psychometrics is responsible for this important matter; because psychometrics is more than all the fields and trends of psychology based on mathematical principles and statistics and is related to the scientific research methods. But this science, like other fields of human knowledge, is evolving and there is an urgent need for control and revision. The articles in this book, written by Dr. Heidar Ali Hooman after several decades of continuous efforts in this field, tried to address the new principles of psychometrics and its broad explanation, especially about the two fields of research and statistics, and respond to this basic need.
