Diplomatic and Consular Rights
Diplomatic rights are one of the most important and interesting branches of international law, a law that covers diplomatic relations between states and strengthens friendly relations between states. In other words, diplomatic right is the right of embassies and their members. Diplomatic and consular rights is a set of rules on which the system of foreign and consular political relations between states is based. Such rules are set out in a body called the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, and are very crucial among states. The purpose of writing this book is to introduce diplomatic and consular rights and the type of work of delegations, embassies, and consulates and their executive agents in foreign policy and administrative affairs abroad, i.e. ambassadors, officials, diplomats, consuls, and consular staff.
