In the collection of archaeological findings, seals have special status. In the early decades of the twentieth century, seals have attracted the attention of art historians and collectors due to their various motifs with various carvings; however, in the middle decades of this century, their archeological role as well as the effect of seals and stamps on flowers became increasingly important. In this regard, seals and their effects have been studied with different archaeological and anthropological approaches. In the geographical area of ​​the Great Plateau of Iran, the emergence and distribution of the phenomenon of seal use in prehistoric and historical societies has provided valuable knowledge in the field of ownership, information transfer, trade and technology. This knowledge, along with the analysis of other archaeological findings, has been able to shed light on the multifaceted dimensions of the cultures of the ancient societies in Plateau of Iran.
