An Introduction to the History of Islamic Philosophy (Vol. 3)
Philosophy has deep roots in Islamic history and culture, but the works that have been written so far to try to identify the historical course of this rich tradition show that there is still a long way to go. It is very difficult to have a deep knowledge of the philosophical tradition in the Islamic world without having a work that has presented the historical course of this tradition in a comprehensive and analytical way. In this book, the authors have provided a concise, illustrative, comprehensive, analytical-critical, and far from the prejudiced picture of the course of Islamic philosophy. Prominent philosophers have also focused on important philosophical developments and schools and sciences related to philosophy (i.e., logic, theology, and mysticism).
