Virtue Epistemology
This book explains the epistemological theory that differs from analytical epistemology due to its focus on the epistemic evaluation of subject to belief. Virtue epistemologists believe that by relying on epistemological virtues, they can solve epistemological problems, redefine epistemological concepts such as knowledge, justify and analyze the knowledge process. Sosa, Greco, Code, Montmarquet, and Zagzebski consider epistemic virtue to be the fundamental concept of epistemology, but Zagzebski was the first philosopher to design epistemological theories based on the ethics of virtue. Responsibility and trustworthiness are two epistemological approaches that have been formed due to differences in explaining the nature of epistemological virtue. The attractiveness and efficiency of the epistemology of virtue indicate the bright future of this epistemological approach.
