Folk Language and Literature of Iran

Folk literature is the greatest heritage and spiritual capital and support of any nation for the survival and an important pillar of the culture of that nation. If we can not bridge the gap between the material and spiritual culture of the past and today with the development of generations and the development of new technologies, it will be very difficult to protect the borders of indigenous, popular, and folk language and literature, which is the source of our national culture. The book Folk Language and Literature of Iran is the first textbook in this field, which, while comprehensive and concise, has been compiled using about 500 authoritative sources to pave the way for further studies and research. Various examples and witnesses have been used to acquaint students with the types and varieties of popular literature. In addition to providing information and knowledge of popular literature, the author has also tried to provide the necessary grounds for scientific research and study. The proposed methods, along with general research methods in the field of anthropology, are specifically used to classify and analyze folk literature.
