An Introduction to Philosophy of Action
Philosophy of action is a branch of the philosophy that discusses human action and is located at the border between philosophy of mind, philosophy of social sciences, and philosophy of ethics. The most important issue in the philosophy of action is what action is and how it differs from movements that arise from a man but are not action. In this book, after discussing what action is, the issue of the relationship between action and its descriptions is discussed. The question is whether the multiplicity of descriptions of the action cause its multiplicity or not? Another important issue that this book addresses is the different views on the causal and systematic relationship between mental states and action that have important implications for the method and nature of human science.
