Economic Evaluation of Projects (Engineering Economics)

The book “Economic Evaluation of Projects” is a collection of concepts, tools, and methods that help decision makers in knowing the justifiability of projects, in different situations, from an economic point of view. The course can be applied in those disciplines that face economic decisions and activities; from economics, management, and accounting to various engineering disciplines that enter the business environment. In the present book, while emphasizing the economic aspects of the topics, it has been attempted to select and compile the materials in such a way that the prepared content is applicable to a wide range of the above academic disciplines. Therefore, two outstanding features of the present book can include a relatively complete collection of materials needed foreconomic evaluation of a project, on the one hand, and on the other hand, avoiding addressing purely theoretical foundations and emphasizing the practical aspect of the materials, especially considering the conditions governing the Iranian economy.
